Privacy principles

How SearchFold handles your account and Google data.
Beta. This privacy policy is in effect for the SearchFold beta. Sign-in uses Google. Search Console access is read-only and stays on our servers.

What we’ll access

  • Sign-in with Google shares your name, email address and profile picture.
  • Search Console data is a separate, read-only permission (webmasters.readonly) that you grant per Google account. We only read data for the properties you choose to connect.
  • Google Analytics 4, when available, will be another separate, optional, read-only permission.

How it’s protected

  • Google refresh tokens are encrypted on our servers and never sent to your browser, written to logs, or included in AI prompts.
  • Every request is checked against your workspace membership, so one workspace can’t read another’s data.

How it’s used

  • To show your search performance, find opportunities and run audits you request.
  • Your data isn’t sold and isn’t used to train shared AI models. Optional AI features will only explain data from your own workspace, and will be off until you turn them on.

Your controls

  • Disconnect a Google connection at any time, from SearchFold or from your Google Account’s third-party access page.
  • Export your data as CSV, and request deletion of everything we’ve stored about your workspace.
